The plan starts from the downtime window rather than the date. The part that saves the most time costs nothing: number every position at the new office on a floor plan, label every item with the number of the position it is going to, and give the crew the plan. Done properly, unloading needs no decisions. Done badly, everything lands in reception and your staff spend Monday moving furniture.
Workstations, cabins and storage are dismantled with fixings bagged and labelled against the unit. IT equipment is wrapped, secured and travels upright, never under anything, and is sequenced to come off first so it can be reconnected while everything else is still being carried. House shifting, storage and what it costs
Household moves in the area follow our usual method: room-by-room packing with our own materials, cartons labelled for the destination room, fragile items wrapped individually and packed so nothing shifts, and furniture dismantled where a doorway or lift will not take it, with fittings kept together.
