We are a moving company working out of Kalyan East, with a second office at Dana Bunder in Mumbai. Household shifting, office relocation, intercity moves, vehicle transport, packing work and storage across Kalyan, Dombivli and the towns around them.
Who we are
A moving company, not a booking platform
Soni Packers and Movers operates from an office in Raja Ram Nagar, Kalyan East, just off the 60ft Road. Our second office is at Vardhman Chamber in Dana Bunder, Masjid Bunder East, which keeps us within reach of the south Mumbai side when a job runs in that direction.
Most of what we do is local. A family moving out of a two bedroom flat in Kalyan East into something larger in Dombivli. An office shifting from one floor to another inside the same complex. A household packing up in Badlapur and heading out of state altogether. The requirements are different every time, and so is the planning that has to go into them.
When you call about a move, you are talking to the people who will be handling it. We do not pass the job on to whoever happens to be free that week and then step out of it.

House Shifting
We handle household moves across the Kalyan and Dombivli belt and the wider Mumbai region. Our crew packs your goods, loads them, moves them and unloads at the new address. This page explains what the work involves so you know what to expect before you book.
Office Relocation
Office moves are judged on downtime. We plan around your working hours, move in the order you need things back in service, and keep the parts of the office that matter most available for as long as possible.
Domestic and Intercity Relocation
Moving to another city changes what matters. Packing has to survive a longer journey, delivery has to be coordinated at the other end, and you need a realistic answer about timing. We handle intercity household moves from the Kalyan and Mumbai region.
Car and Bike Transportation
Cars and two-wheelers are handled differently from household goods. This page covers how we move them, what to do before handover, and what is checked at pickup and delivery.
Packing, Loading and Unloading
Not every move needs the full service. If you have transport arranged, or only need the heavy work done, we can handle packing alone, loading alone, or any combination. This page covers the materials and methods we use.

How we work
How we approach a move
Five stages. Most of the problems on a moving day trace back to something that was not checked in the first two.
Understanding what is being moved
Before quoting we need to know what is actually going. Number of rooms, large or awkward items, anything fragile, and whether something needs dismantling first. For bigger homes and for office work a survey is worth doing, either in person or over a video call.
Checking access at both ends
This is the part that gets skipped most often and causes the most trouble on the day. Lift size, whether a lift is available at all, staircase width, how close a vehicle can park to the entrance, and society rules about when shifting work is allowed. Access is what decides the vehicle we send, so we ask about it early rather than on the morning.
Packing
Cartons for smaller items, wrapping for furniture and appliances, separate handling for glass, mirrors and screens. Beds, wardrobes and modular units are dismantled where needed and the fittings are kept together so reassembly is not a guessing game at the other end.
Loading and transport
Loading is sequenced so weight sits correctly and nothing fragile carries a load above it. The vehicle is chosen against the volume and the access constraints rather than the other way round.
Unloading and handover
Goods are placed room by room rather than left in the hall. Dismantled furniture is put back together where that was part of the agreed scope. We finish once you have checked what came off the vehicle against what went on it.

Scope settled before the job
What is included, what is not, and what would be charged separately. Unpacking, reassembly and vehicle transport are often assumed to be part of the quote when they have not been discussed, so we would rather agree it in advance than argue about it afterwards.
A realistic answer on timing
Distance, loading conditions and vehicle restrictions on the route all affect when goods reach the destination. We tell you what is realistic for your route rather than the answer that sounds better on the phone.
Someone reachable during the move
You should not have to chase anyone for an update on where the vehicle has got to.
Handling that matches the item
A washing machine, a glass topped table and a carton of books are not treated the same way, and the packing material reflects that.

Things people ask before calling
Do you handle moves outside Maharashtra?
Yes. Intercity and interstate household relocation is part of our work, both out of the Kalyan and Mumbai region and into it. Tell us the destination city and we will confirm whether we can take the job.
Can you move only part of my household?
Yes. Partial moves, single item moves and packing only jobs are all possible. It helps to tell us upfront which items are going, because that changes both the vehicle and the price.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Beds, wardrobes and modular units are dismantled where required and put back together at the destination when that has been agreed as part of the scope. Confirm it while taking the quote so it is not left out later.
