Our Work

Every photograph on this page is from a job our own crews carried out. Packing and wrapping, loading and transport, furniture and appliance handling, timber crating for heavy items, and vehicles going into carriers. There is no stock photography anywhere on this website.

What you are looking at

The work we handle

Six kinds of job. The photographs further down come from all of them.

  • House Shifting

Flats and independent houses. Kitchen contents, wardrobes, beds, appliances and electronics, packed room by room and placed room by room at the other end.

  • Office Relocation

Workstations, cabins, chairs, files and IT equipment. Items are wrapped and labelled individually so a desk can be reassembled where it belongs rather than guessed at.

  • Domestic and Intercity Relocation

Household moves out of the Kalyan and Mumbai region to other cities, and inbound moves the same way. Longer routes change how goods are packed and secured.

  • Car and Bike Transportation

Cars and two wheelers, loaded into enclosed carriers and strapped down. Moved separately from household goods, either alongside a home relocation or on their own.

  • Packing, Loading and Unloading

Packing, loading and unloading taken as its own job, for customers who have arranged transport already or need only part of the work done.

  • Warehouse Shifting, Storage and Heavy Item Moving

Warehouse shifting, storage between two possession dates, and heavy items that need timber crates built around them before they can be moved.

Packing and preparation

What an item is decides how it gets packed. Crockery and glassware are wrapped piece by piece and packed into cartons rather than stacked loose. Appliances are sheeted and filmed. Furniture gets protective wrapping over the surfaces that take knocks going through a doorway.

Packing runs room by room and cartons are labelled as they are closed. That is not for tidiness. It is what lets the crew put a carton into the right room at the destination instead of leaving everything in the hall for you to sort out.

Heavy or awkward items that will not survive wrapping alone get timber crates built around them on site.

Loading and transport

Loading is a sequence, not a scramble. Weight goes low and even, fragile cartons never carry a load on top of them, and everything is secured so it is not shifting about on the road.

What we can send depends on access more than on volume. How close a vehicle can get to the entrance, whether there is a lift, how wide the staircase and the turns are, and what hours the society allows shifting work. Those answers decide the vehicle and the crew size, which is why we ask about them before quoting rather than on the morning.

Furniture and large items

Sofas, wardrobes, beds, mattresses and large appliances are looked at before anything is lifted. Some go out whole. Some have to come apart first because the doorway, the staircase turn or the lift will not take them assembled.

Where an item is dismantled, the fittings are kept with it and it is put back together at the destination when that was part of the agreed scope. Wrapping goes on before it moves, not after it has already been carried down a corridor.

Cars and two wheelers

Vehicles travel in enclosed carriers, driven up a ramp and strapped down on the deck rather than tied to whatever is nearest. They move separately from household goods.

This can run alongside a house move so the car arrives around the same time as the furniture, or it can be booked on its own. More on vehicle transportation.

How it comes together

From the first call to the last carton

Five stages. The first two are where a move is won or lost.

  1. Enquiry and survey

What is going, from where, to where, and what needs particular care. Bigger jobs are surveyed before a price is given.

  2. Planning

Access at both ends, lift or staircase, parking distance and society timing rules. This is what decides the vehicle and the crew size.

  3. Packing and preparation

Materials matched to the item. Fragile goods wrapped individually, furniture sheeted, heavy items crated where needed.

  4. Loading and transport

Loaded in sequence, secured, and moved on a vehicle chosen against the volume and the access constraints.

  5. Unloading and placement

Goods placed room by room and checked against what went on the vehicle. Reassembly where that was part of the agreed scope.

More about how we work

Questions

About the work itself

Do you handle the packing, or do I pack myself?

Either. We can pack everything with our own materials, or you can pack what you want to and we handle the rest along with the loading and transport. Packing, loading and unloading can also be booked on its own if you have already arranged a vehicle.

Can you dismantle furniture that will not fit through the door?

Yes. Beds, wardrobes and modular units are dismantled where required and put back together at the destination when that is part of the agreed scope. Fittings are kept together so reassembly is not guesswork. Confirm it while taking the quote so it is not left out.

Do you transport cars and bikes?

Yes. Cars and two wheelers are loaded into enclosed carriers and secured for transport. This can run alongside a household move or be booked as a job on its own.

Can you move just a few items rather than a whole house?

Yes. Partial moves and single item moves are both possible. Tell us upfront which items are going, because it changes the vehicle and therefore the price.

Do you handle office and warehouse shifting as well as homes?

Yes. Office relocation, warehouse shifting and heavy item moving are handled by the same company as household work, so you are not dealing with two different contractors.

Tell us what your move looks like

Send us the pickup and drop areas, the size of the home or office, your preferred date, and anything large, heavy or fragile that needs particular handling. We will come back with a quote based on that.
