1. Information we may receive

If you send the enquiry form on this website, we receive the details you enter in it: your name, your phone number, the area you are moving from, the area you are moving to, and the service you need. Two fields are optional and are only received if you fill them in: your preferred date and any additional information you choose to add.

The form also contains one hidden field that visitors never see or fill in. It is used to detect automated submissions. It collects nothing about you.

We do not ask for identity documents, payment card details or any government identification number through this website.

If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we receive whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation, along with the phone number or email address you contact us from.

2. How we use information

We use what you send us in order to:

• reply to your enquiry
• understand what the move involves
• prepare a quote
• arrange, plan and carry out the move if you go ahead
• answer questions you ask us about the work

We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to advertisers, and we do not run advertising or marketing campaigns based on them.

3. How information is shared

Your details are seen by the people at Soni Packers and Movers who need them in order to respond to your enquiry or carry out your move. That may include the person preparing the quote and the crew handling the job, since they need to know the addresses and what is being moved.

Information may also be shared where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

4. WhatsApp, email and telephone

The WhatsApp, call and email buttons on this website open services operated by other companies. WhatsApp is operated by Meta. Your email and telephone service are operated by whichever providers you and we use.

Once you leave this website to use one of those services, the message and any attachments are handled under that provider’s own privacy policy and terms, not this one. We have no control over how those companies process the data passing through them. If that matters to you, use the enquiry form or call us instead.

5. The enquiry form

When you send the enquiry form, the details are transmitted over an encrypted connection to our website hosting so that we can act on them.

If that submission cannot be completed, the form tells you so on screen and offers you our phone number and WhatsApp instead. In that case the details you typed are not sent anywhere and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

The form does not save what you type into your browser. Nothing you enter persists on your device after you leave the page.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking. It does not store data in your browser’s local storage or session storage, and it does not use tracking pixels or fingerprinting.

That is also why you are not shown a cookie consent banner: there is nothing of that kind to consent to. Your browser will still do ordinary things such as caching images so pages load faster, which is normal browser behaviour rather than anything this website asks it to do.

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which typically record requested pages, timestamps and technical details such as IP address and browser type. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, not by anything we have built into the site.

7. Third-party services

We have kept these to a minimum. The ones that exist are:

• Our website hosting provider, which serves the pages and receives enquiry form submissions.
• WhatsApp, only if you tap a WhatsApp button and choose to send a message.
• Google Maps, only if you tap the link to open our office location. That link takes you to Google’s own site or app. There is no Google Maps window embedded in this website.

Beyond those, this website carries no analytics service, no advertising network, no social media tracking widgets and no embedded third-party content. The photographs and videos on the site are our own files, served from our own hosting rather than from a video platform.

8. Security

Enquiries sent through this website are transmitted over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to keep the details you give us protected and limited to the people who need them.

No method of transmitting or storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

9. How long information is kept

We keep enquiry and job details for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose you provided them for, which usually means responding to the enquiry and then completing and settling the move, and for as long afterwards as we are required to keep records.

10. Your choices and requests

You decide what to tell us. If you would rather not put your address details in a form, call us and give them over the phone instead.

If you want to know what details of yours we hold, want them corrected, or want us to delete them, contact us using the details in section 13 and tell us what you are asking for. It helps if you mention the phone number or email address you originally contacted us from, so we can find the right enquiry.

11. Children’s privacy

This is a website for arranging moving services and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us details through this website, contact us and we will remove them.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. This policy describes how we handle information; it is not legal advice, and it does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
