Vehicle access, and what happens when a large one cannot reach
Two trips in a smaller vehicle is not a failure. It is often the correct answer, and it is far better than a large vehicle parked several streets away while everything is carried by hand.
What matters is deciding which it is before the day. At the survey we look at the approach, where a vehicle can legally and safely stand, and how far the carry would be from that point. If the honest answer is a smaller vehicle and two runs, we say so and price it. If a full-size vehicle reaches the door, the job is simpler and cheaper and we say that too.
What we will not do is quote for the easy version and revise it once the crew is on site. A mover who has not asked how close a vehicle can park has not priced your move. That is one of the checks in how to choose a mover.
Everything else follows the usual method: room-by-room packing with our own materials, cartons labelled for the destination room, dismantling where a doorway needs it with fittings kept together, and goods placed in the rooms you specify. See house shifting, or packing, loading and unloading if you only want part of the job.
Local and intercity moves from Shahad
Short moves to Kalyan or Khadakpada keep the same crew at both ends, so nobody has to be briefed twice about what is fragile.
Moves towards Thane or Mumbai add real driving time and route restrictions for larger vehicles, so a start time is agreed with the date. Longer relocations are a different service, with packing built for the journey from the outset: see domestic and intercity relocation. Vehicles travel separately under car and bike transportation.
Price is decided by volume, the floors and lift position at both ends, the vehicle the access permits, the packing scope, dismantling and the date. More detail is in what actually affects the cost. Send both addresses and your date through the contact page, or browse areas we serve.
