First, the permissions. Call the society or manager at both addresses today. Everything else can be arranged around whatever window they give you.

Second, a survey, even a quick video one. A quote based on a walkthrough holds. A quote based on a phone description gets revised on the morning, which is the last thing you need in a compressed week.

Third, the things you cannot replace. Documents, identification, jewellery, medicines, chargers, laptops and drives go into a bag that stays with you, before any packing starts. In a rushed move these are exactly what gets swept into a carton and lost for a week.
